Roumei Technology Limited is a nanotech start-up specializing in the field of semiconductor nanoparticle synthesis and optimisation for the LED application. My main responsibilities included:- Optimisation of flow reactor for synthesis of high quality core seeds &- Assistance in Safety and Asset Risk Management of the company including communication with local authorities for licensing of small scale chemical production, elaboration of safe working procedures, and use of toxic material in accordance with the relevant Hong Kong regulations.

I worked in DNV GL Singapore for 3 months where I was an assistant to a senior risk consultant in the Safety and Asset Risk Management section of the Oil and Gas department. I was trained for 3 - 4 days to use the modelling software PHAST 6.7 and PHAST Risk 6.7 after which I worked on different cases presented to me.
