Developed six predictive models with an accuracy of 0.83 to predict mobile banking adoption and identify factors influencing adoption by dividing the financial institutions into five categories based on the well-established diffusion of innovation theory. Developed a predictive model with a misclassification rate of 0.15 and an ROC index of 0.93 to identify factors influencing employee attrition, guiding HR strategy for increased satisfaction and retention. Collected and processed large datasets, cleaned data and performed exploratory analysis in excel, Python and SAS studio to identify trends, variable importances etc.Used various advanced predictive modeling methods in SAS Enterprise miner like random forests, LASSO, adaptive LASSO, stepwise regression etc. to arrive at the best possible predictions.Used comparison nodes in to compare the prediction accuracy using various metrics such as profit/loss, misclassification rate, accuracy etc.Made reports to describe the entire process of developing predicting models in detail and provided various recommendations based on the results of our models.Made parallels to various existing theories such as the diffusion of innovation theory and self-selection theory to back our results further and drive future research.Collaborated with industry experts and faculty to refine model assumptions and improve predictive accuracy.
