- Work with USAID and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to enhance conflict early warning and response systems through conflict monitoring and analysis, desktop research, geospatial conflict data coding and fieldwork interviewing local stakeholders.- Design grant proposals, community surveys, and M&E evaluations to assess peace and security and support the Human Rights and Business Round Table in West Africa with the U.S. Department of State.- Work with Regional Development Banks to build nation-state resilience index, with a special focus on Forced Displacement shocks and stressors.

High School For Law, Advocacy, And Community Justice

Individually facilitated and led a classroom of 30 high school senior students to create an action civics project on the school-to-prison pipeline dynamics in New York. Focused on adapting lesson plans as needed for students based on their interests and skill sets. Worked towards communicating with various nonprofits and organizations to invite guest speakers into the classroom to further students’ knowledge on community issues.

Under the direction of two Regional Directors, develop a dynamic compendium/office profiles for each of the offices to include community, partner, programmatic, fund raising, structure and performance profiles. Also in coordination with USP units, identify trends, gaps and opportunities across the network of offices with a particular focus on programs and structure. Identified best practices in field implementation, including lessons learned from pilot initiatives, and assist in devising platforms for sharing technical approaches and resources from program and operational improvements. Supported the development of, and follow up from regular field based communications and coordination of regional meetings, and assisted tracking progress of the implementation of enterprise wide operations system ‘Integra across offices and identify impediments to progress as well as best practices/success emerging.

Phoenix, Arizona

Deployed to support Southern Border shelter operations for Asylum Seeking Families services, worked to develop Standard Operating Procedure for shelter operations and establish important precedence for future shelters. Provide legal orientations, know-your-rights sessions, and coordinated travel for asylum seeking families in Spanish, served as the volunteer coordinator to 40 volunteers daily, and travel to airports to serve as liaisons for traveling families that encounter difficulties with TSA immigration officers and ICE officials.

Jackson, Mississippi Area

Engaged in historical and archival research on civil rights heroes of Mississippi, and their influence in state-wide policy at the Mississippi State Department of Archives and History. Research data and resources regarding pivotal moments in the struggle for equality, and developed rapport with museum visitors while providing them with an overview of civil rights history.

Garden City, New York

Served as an education correspondent and taught children about various sciences and historically significant ideas through interacting with museum exhibits, and led educational tours for K-5 school groups and summer recreation organizations to foster the importance of learning in the summer.
