I am Devashish Daksha, a fourth-year undergraduate student from the Department of Chemical Engineering, ICT Mumbai - IOC Odisha Campus, Bhubaneshwar.I am extremely passionate about Nanotechnology as well as it's applications in the Energy Sector especially Solar Cells and have been working on building a strong foundation in these fields. I have read several papers on Photovoltaics and found it really fascinating that models showed very consistent data on power conversion efficiency as well as stability front! I am really interested in work that involves the combination of my own interests and would really enjoy contributing to such projects.I feel I have established a theoretical base in solar cell synthesis having extensively read through books like “Advance Renewable Energy Systems” by S. C. Bhatia, “Physics of Energy Sources” by George C. King, “Photoelectrochemical Solar Cells” by Suresh Chandra and having taken multiple courses in Spectroscopy analysis at my college to assist in the same. I have been working on a research project involving Development of a Household Cooling System using Solar Energy to address various problems in the field of Solar Thermal Energy numerically throughout the summer of 2021 and have thoroughly enjoyed myself in doing so. I have a sound coding background having taken multiple programming and courses in my college and have started working on the application of it in Hydrogen Cells. I have also completed several Massive Open Online Courses at NPTEL like "Physics in Renewable Energy Systems", " Soft Nanotechnology'' providing me a theoretical grasp of the topic. I believe this prior familiarity with the theoretical as well as programming aspect of research in the field will modestly assist the projects.If given a chance to work under your guidance, I will make sure to combine the best of my experiences and abilities to add value to your projects.
