I started my career with EY and carried out different forms of IT control testing for investment banks, international banks, national banks, non-banking financial corporations, payment banks and wallets. In my stint at EY, I acquired expertise in IT General controls testing, Internal audits, Information Security audits, Information systems audit, BCMS 369, IT automated control testing, data centre reviews, third party vendor audits and regulatory reviews. Later, I joined Morgan Stanley wherein I worked in the Operational Risk Department (Second Line of Defence) creating specialist views highlighting various cybersecurity, technology and information security trends, patterns and sharing insights of various monitoring parameters. Also, worked on mapping metrics to IT controls, mapping operational risk incidents to pathways and transformed a manual tracker to a Tableau dashboard. I was involved in organising various events for Women Business Alliance which fostered inclusion and diversity at the firm and took part in various giving back initiatives to the best extent possible. I moved to Grant Thornton, my role primarily involves conducting IT infrastructure audits/reviews, ITGC testing, SOX testing, application control testing, supporting statutory audits and internal audits for clients with business areas focusing BFSI, textile industry, travel and tourism, technology etc.
