Throughout her illustrious career, she has been featured in esteemed publications such as The Washington Post, The Seattle Times, The News Tribune and others, showcasing her dedication and talent in the world of pageantry and foster care activism.With a deep passion for advocating for foster and at-risk youth, De'Vaughnn has been at the forefront of leading initiatives to support and empower the most vulnerable populations, using her testimony to inspire and engage her community. In 1992, De'Vaughnn and her siblings were placed in the Washington foster care system, becoming subject to unfortunate circumstances, until their removal in 1999. In 2007, De'Vaughnn and her siblings won the largest settlement of its kind in Washington state history.
