As a student in the Electronic Engineering Technician Program at Durham College, I have sharpened my ability and skills in CAD design, programming, electrical schematic diagrams, and troubleshooting, servicing, and building electronic circuitry and computers. I have developed these skills through my studies and repeated a hands-on practice in labs, projects, and personal projects outside of school. During my studies I have been able to build upon my passion for programming and computers by focusing on courses such as Computer Apps & Simulation, Computers and Networking, Digital Circuits, Industrial Controls, and Programming for Technology. I have developed my professional workplace skills such as Problem solving, Technology, Self-management, Learning, and industrial health and safety during my shifts as a Jr. CNC Technician at DT Engineering. This position entails assisting with mechanical and electrical repairs, and troubleshooting CNC machines’ hardware and software.I believe that my experiences in CNC machinery along with my studies make me an excellent candidate for a variety of positions. I am a diligent worker, very observant when analyzing problems and I am passionate at seeing my work through to the end. I’m eager to learn new things and welcome the opportunity to further develop my skills in the workplace.
