CurrentAccountant Specializing in Australian Clients-Manage client data processing bills via Dext to Xero, MYOB, or BGL 360.-Perform bank reconciliations.-Manage aged payables and receivables.-Review financial statements.-Handle supplier payments.-Prepare BASs, IASs, Payroll Tax, annual FBT returns and SMSFs.-Prepare workpapers and generate monthly reports.-Oversee payroll for staff and doctors.-Assist clients with compliance issues related to PAYG, GST, Workcover, Superannuation, PAYGI.-Generate and review journal entries.-Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.-Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, such as the Australian Accounting Standards and the Corporations Act.-Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian tax laws.-Assist clients in maintaining proper financial records to support their tax filings.-Coordinate and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.-Utilize accounting software and technology tools to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial reporting and analysis.-Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff.
