Hello, my name is Dev Dalwadi, and I am an international student from India currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting at the University of North Texas. I am deeply passionate about the world of finance and business. I actively engage in various activities to enrich my university experience. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have a strong interest in community service and volunteering. I have volunteered at major events in my home country and continued this commitment at the University of North Texas. I served as an active committee member of the Indian Student Organization at UNT for one year, where I honed my leadership, time management, and organizational skills. In terms of academics, I have maintained a solid 3.9 GPA throughout my semesters, demonstrating my dedication to excellence in my studies. These academic achievements reflect my determination and commitment to my education. I am currently in my Senior year at the University of North Texas, where I have taken on the role of a Lead Tutor. In this position, my primary focus is to help students foster collaboration, engage in one to one sessions, and encourage interaction to assist them in mastering course materials. In addition to my academic involvement, I completed an internship with OM Associates. During my internship, I was responsible for creating, analyzing, and interpreting financial statements for clients. This experience significantly enhanced my skills in areas such as data entry, bookkeeping, organization, interpretation, time management, and customer service.
