With 17 years of experience across different areas within the media content business - from producing & financing original content for all leading OTT & Pay TV platforms to marketing of films & branded entertainment to celebrity management across organizations like Star, Viacom18, Balaji, Reliance, Cosmos-Maya among others; I've had the good fortune to dabble across the different aspect of the media business, a field that I've always been extremely passionate about. In my last role as the Chief Growth Officer at Cosmos-Maya & I was instrumental in getting content commissioning deals worth $100+ Million, across 25 TV series globally, with 5000+ episodes. The studio grew from a 30 member team to a 1000+ during my tenure there. I have also been able to build a strong international network across the digital monetization value-chain and have sold content in 120+ countries & also launched YouTube network with 35 channels and 90 Million+ cumulative subscribers & 50 Billion+ views. With all those learnings, I am now focussing all my energies on the Creator Economy. At Animeta we've built an integrated tech enabled platform called Animeta Brandstar to drive Influencer Marketing and Creator Led Commerce. This enables brands to discover and execute campaigns, with the most relevant creators, in an advanced data-intuitive way; with a strong focus on ROI & sales performance metrics.My belief in & regard for the 'Creator Economy' stems from my love for content creation, and have also dabbled into creating my own my poetry vlog, which is yet another attempt at exploring the beauty & newer dimensions of languages, while I also enjoy writing prose, a lot.
