Offensive Security / Application SecurityServed as a senior member on the Adversarial and Threat Services team. On this team I lead many successful penetration tests for a variety of complex environments, including compliance based testing. I was also responsible for providing secure code reviews and running threat modeling sessions for our various verticals. Prior to building the team out, I was often the person the business would call during an incident to help with the response. A number of incidents required me to identify any indicators of compromise, and reverse engineer malware to determine if it was a targeted attack or if the business was caught in a broader drag-net type operation.Designed and developed an internal tool to help support our penetration tests by automatically running the first pass of enumeration and scans. This system enabled us to provide consistent first-scans during an engagement and proved useful for scaling up our test throughput. Architecture / EngineeringMember of the central architecture team, responsible for cross-organizational alignment of company standards and solving technically complex problems at a high level. This included initiatives such as company wide secrets cleanup, where I was responsible for the detection tooling as a part of the SDLC and the follow up for removing and rotating the identified secrets.On the Architecture team we served the CTO directly and were deployed to various verticals and teams to help solve the most technically complex challenges and issues as they occurred. I spent a lot of this time shifting between businesses internally helping build more secure and efficient competencies across the teams.

Created distributed IoT appliance and management platform. The system allows for remote management of hardware appliance deployed to TV broadcast trucks and studios allowing iPowow employees to remotely configure, debug and deploy software releases. Automated provisioning of appliances using Ansible from a brand new machine to being ready to ship to clients. The system is networked using a variety of encryption and tunneling methods that allow the system to work in a variety of network environments.Co-authored system that directly integrates with multiple broadcast graphics engines. This was the core software portion of the hardware appliance that transmitted the iPowow data to graphics engines.Created employee SSO platform that ties into all iPowow broadcast tooling. The SSO platform allows fine-grained control over employee permissions per service and easier management by grouping of services and employees into teams.Designed and developed Analytics and reporting platform for iPowow employees to generate PDF reports with charts and metrics to deliver to clients. Reports include statistics from Google analytics and the iPowow system. This project required a custom job system to be built to handle processing report generation tasks and rendering the reports to PDF using a headless browser.Created stand-alone desktop version of the Broadcast appliance that runs on Windows broadcast graphics engines. This desktop application ties into the iPowow IoT management platform and allows clients to use our systems without having hardware on premises. Application is built to follow our IoT licensing system and allows binaries to be remotely disabled. It was constructed using C#.NET, GO, and React packaged into a single binary.Constructed on-air graphics and experiences that have been used on CNN, RedBull Battlegrounds, CNBC, Golf Channel and others using a variety of graphics engines like Chyron, Xpression and TriCaster.

Developed realtime, large scale Node.js platforms. Built the back end Node.js architecture for the 'Speed Fantasybid' game that runs alongside the Barrett Jackson auctions once every 3 months. The system was able to handle thousands of concurrent users, capable of processing 10k+ bids per second. I also was responsible for building the back end administration system for the game, which allows one person to manage the entire game from a single browser window.I assisted with development of the multi-camera streaming platform which was used for events such as: Barrett Jackson, Rolex 24, 24 Hours of Le Mans. This platform was used in conjunction with the Fantasy Bid event which seamlessly tied the experience to the game using the underlying chat platform. The streaming system has been in large scale production for a number of years and the latest version of the software was being used with many of the live streaming events.One of my other responsibilities was to further the internal development tool set and working with the other developers for building pages for the marketing department.

Developed the streaming platform used to stream the 2012 London Olympics in Ireland and Jamaica. The platform was built to handle the 55 different gaming events during the duration of the games, many of which were scheduled to happen at the same time. At any point in time there could be up to 55 live gaming events occurring, which one person was able to manage for the entire duration of the 2012 London Olympics using the CME Admin platform. The system was able to handle thousands of concurrent viewers, all of which received real-time event updates when events were starting and stopping, updating the available list of streams to watch automatically. It also featured fully featured DVR allowing a viewer to start an event, and go back to any point in time of that streams timeline.

Developed internal tools and systems to aide development across all internal properties. Lead development of an internal business, where I was tasked with developing new checking procedures for the agents during the checkout process. I also crafted real-time reports and dashboards for the sales funnel, which were used to make important business decisions by the leaders of the business unit.

At Ashley Furniture I architected and developed the 'Package Tag' platform which is used in the stores in and around North & South Carolina to generate and print the package tag's seen in the stores. The system was built using PHP and PostgreSQL.The package tag system allowed management to easily design and print the package tags from one convenient location, and send out updates to all the stores which notified them to print the latest tags. These tags listed prices and items included in said 'Packages'.
