I am a learning and Career development enthusiast. I am passionate about using innovative technology to create meaningful learning experiences that spark learner and employee engagement. My passion for using technology to make learning engaging began as a child. I remember thinking in class, "Who designed this textbook?" and "There's got to be a better way to teach this." Like other millennials, I fell in love with technology after an introductory Mavis Beacon typing and computer technology class coupled with "learning in the flow of work" in HTML for building Myspace pages. To my surprise, how I learned technology set the framework for my ideology on designing and delivering learner & career experiences. My mission is to put humans first in making technology work. Through human-centered design, I deliver revolutionary solutions for complex issues that positively influence learners and the organizations they serve. My success in higher education has been achieved by using equitable e-learning, instructional technology, and collaborative learning tools to align the competency-driven academic learning space with the skills-driven workplace. My success in the corporate workspace is rooted in using technology platforms to equip team members with the skills needed to learn their roles, grow in their roles, and recognize how their current skills or upskilling serves their organization & future with the possibilities of serving other roles that align with their goals.
