As a laboratory teaching assistant I ran two laboratory sessions a week. Introduction to Engineering Design - Spring 2016, 2017I help to run weekly workshops for students in the class to assist them in their Firefighting Robot that they have to build for their term projects. The workshops involved assisting the students with general design practices in problem solving, teaching them coding in the Arduino IDE, and introducing them to core concepts in robotics like soldering, sensor interfacing and general wiring practices. Mechanics I: Statics - Fall 2016I ran weekly session to assist the students with understanding the concepts and principle in the class as well as assisting any students needing help with the weekly problem sets. In addition, I graded weekly problem sets for the professor.Calculus I - Fall 2016, 2017I ran weekly session to assist the students with understanding the concepts and principle in the class as well as assisting any students needing help with the problem sets. In the Aetna Quantitative Center, I work to assist walk-in students who want help with their homework or understanding concepts from their mathematics courses. Students come to the center seeking assistance any mathematics course ranging from college algebra to differential equations.

During my freshman Spring I began work with a fellow student on an intelligent digital stethoscope system aimed at assisting in the detection and classification of heart murmur episodes. We developed a digital stethoscope using an Arduino Micro-controller that was capable of detecting and marking the S1 and S2 timings on an LCD display. The project was presented in a poster presentation at the 42nd Annual Northeast Bioengineering Conference on April 6th, 2016.

As an event support worker, I worked on a small team of typically 2-3 people to assist in the running of various events on campus. Typical duties involve assisting with event setup and breakdown of the event, providing and running audio or visual equip from the S.A.I.L. Office during the event, or providing assistance with any in-house A/V systems.

I assisted in the moving, packing and loading of household items and furniture. In addition I also assisted in some of the commercial jobs which required to setup, install, breakdown and move commercial offices and office furniture.

I assisted in the initial stages of the transition from paper to electronic patient charts. Throughout the process I proposed and integrated new methods to help streamline the process and make it run more efficiently. At the end of the summer I trained other office staff in the process of converting patient charts to an electronic format.
