Description:The Project deals with setting up the modern UI based APCM (Aashtoware) application for Contract management for the TxDOT and migrating legacy interfaces from existing client-based system Site Manager. TxDOT is the primary agency dealing with highway construction/maintenance in the state of Texas and have been using a client system-based software Site Manager to manage and pay contracts and contractors, in 2020 they decided to upgrade their infrastructure and opted for a more flexible, modern and UI based application APCM. By Design APCM is a very customized application as every state agency (the software has been in use by other DOTs of other states) has their unique requirements and method of managing contracts and handling payments, hence the new application was setup in line with Texas DOT’s requirement and existing interfaces were integrated with the same. The legacy system had multiple interfaces working with IBM Mainframe systems using X-Broker and Power Builder, all these were re-designed to use JSONs to interact with the new APCM application.Responsibilities:• Working with Business Analysts and business users to document the requirements and document data mappings for the new database.• Setup a new staging area within the database to facilitate ETL process to load and process contracts. This allowed for any errors to be mitigated in the staging area or if any re-load was required so that the impact on the fact data areas was minimal.• Extensively involved in development of stored procedures to implement business logic in Oracle 12c database.• Worked extensively with business users to ensure the ETL process loaded accurate data in the staging area so it can be moved to fact area.• Worked with SMEs of legacy system to design and document the interfaces connected to the same.• Designed end to end architecture of the interfaces and worked on implementing the business logic using Oracle PLSQL, .NET and ESB.

Project: I-Supply System.Description:The project involved development of the receiving module within the Materials department of the I-Supply system in the organisation. The Receiving module was to help warehouse associates manage reception of the ordered stocks from various vendors in an efficient and automated manner. The project also involved supporting and enhancement of the existing purchasing module within the I-Supply system. The scope of the enhancement activity ranged from fixing user bugs to re-engineering the existing setup to meet new enhancements and achieve better performance on the database side.Responsibilities:• Working with Business Analysts to document the requirements.• Extensively involved in development of stored procedures to implement business logic in IBM DB2 database.• Working on performance tuning strategies within the project.• Support Changes/enhancements and bug fixing.• Environment setup and Development of Data Loader scripts using PYTHON to extract and load data from other databases into DB2 database. Setup microservices based search functionality using python on the data to provide ease of data access to users.• Automation of manual reporting using Python.• Data extraction and loading using Python.• Monitoring tableau dashboards for various well data generated from multiple views.Environment: IBM DB2 7.3, IBM I-Server, Oracle 11g, PYTHON 3.6.

Description:The Project involved offering performance improvement recommendations on the existing queries both static and dynamic as part of various procedures and packages within Oracle and Informatica ETL tool. New code and solution requirements were handled to meet the business requirements. Apart from offering solutions at database level, underlying source codes in Oracle and Informatica were also analysed for optimization to check for better performance.Responsibilities:• Working directly with & reporting to Customers to understand the requirements.• Extensively involved in using PL/SQL to build Oracle Packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, Oracle Reports for data processing.• Working on performance tuning strategies for the database objects across various databases.• Database Analysis of the Oracle and SQL Server loan data for testing code • Changes/enhancements.• Used various machine learning techniques and statistical algorithms based on the requirement to provide data analysis, training & testing models and providing accurate recommendations.• Automating data loads and extractions using Python. Project(s): CITI Global Allocation Processing System (APS), CITI KYC & CITI anti-money laundering (AML)These projects involved developing and maintaining various complex PL/SQL jobs. Developed Oracle Stored procedures to build and execute various critical modules. This proved pivotal as gathering requirements and understanding the business model was critical for the final delivery.Extensively contributed towards automating key processes (time consuming due to heavy data volume) which resulted in tuning-up the performance of applications. I was commended by clients for my proactive approach, out-of-the-box contribution around this.Designed and Developed Global Function Allocation model (Product) for POC system using Oracle PL/SQL.
