I am a mechanical engineering student at ACE Engineering College, Hyderabad, where I am learning the fundamentals of design, analysis, and manufacturing of mechanical systems. I have also completed a diploma in mechanical engineering from Govt.polytechnic mahabubnagar in 2020. I have a keen interest in the applications of mechanical engineering in the nuclear industry, which led me to pursue an internship at Nuclear Fuel Complex, Department of Atomic Energy, India, in 2023.During my internship, I gained hands-on experience in vacuum distillation processes for the production of zirconium sponge, a vital material for nuclear reactors. I acquired proficiency in monitoring and controlling production parameters to ensure optimal product quality. I also enhanced my understanding of the entire production cycle, from raw materials to final product. I developed problem-solving skills through troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and process inefficiencies. I strengthened my knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in industrial settings. Through this internship, I demonstrated my ability to work with a team of engineers and technicians, contribute to the organization's goals, and adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to new challenges and opportunities in the mechanical engineering field.
