CurrentCell biology lead for oncology and obesity related targeted protein stabilization (TPS) PPIs program: Performing, and/or supervising screening and genetic validation studies to validate target-client interaction. Hands-on-experience in development of suite of target engagement and functional cellular assay to support TPS mode of action (MOA) in cells such as HiBit, NanoBit, nanoBRET, induced proximity etc.Project leader for target identification and validation program: Identified novel drug targets from transcriptomic RNAseq data. Expressed and purified protein drug targets, designed and executed in vitro high-throughput biochemical and cellular screens, identified hits and characterized their enzymatic/binding activities in various biochemical/biophysical assays. Designed and supervised chemoproteomics studies to validate cellular target engagement and functional knock out studies to validate the target. Collaborated with cheminformatics, structural biologist and chemist for hit to lead optimization for selected hits with novel chemotypes.
