Board Member in three other companies, viz, Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., Himachal Emta Power Ltd., Gourangdih Coal Ltd.Kashang Hydroelectric Project Stage I (65 MW) has been commissioned and four other projects, viz, Kashang Stage II & III (130 MW), Sawra Kuddu (111 MW), Sainj (100 MW), Shongtong Karcham (450 MW) are under construction. Sainj hydroelectric Project (100 MW) would be commissioned in September, 2016. ADB has provided a loan of US$ 800 million for these Projects. KfW of Germany has provided a loan of EURO 150 million for electro-mechanical works of these projects. Renuka Dam (40 MW), a storage scheme, declared as National Importance Project has been taken up for construction. Surgani Sunda (48 MW) has been granted TEC. Detailed Project Reports of Nakthan (460 MW), Thana Plaun (191 MW), Chanju III (48 MW) and Deothal Chnaju (33 MW) have been prepared. DPRs for Triveni Mahadev (78 MW), Sunni Dam (538 MW) and Gyspa Dam (300 MW) are under preparation. Pre-feasibility Reports of Lujai (40 MW), Chiroti Saichu (26 MW), Saichu (43 MW) and Saichu-Sach Khas (104 MW) have been prepared. Khab Hydroelectric Project (600 MW) located on river Satluj is at the identification stage.KfW, German Development Bank has committed low interest rate loan of Euro 200 million during July, 2013 for Construction of Thana Paun Hydroelectric Project (191 MW) located in district Mandi, H.P. Project to be taken up for construction during the next year.
