KfW of Germany has provided a loan of EURO 150 million for electro-mechanical works of these projects. Renuka Dam (40 MW), a storage scheme, declared as National Importance Project has been taken up for construction. Surgani Sunda (48 MW) has been granted TEC. Detailed Project Reports of Nakthan (460 MW), Thana Plaun (191 MW), Chanju III (48 MW) and Deothal Chnaju (33 MW) have been prepared. DPRs for Triveni Mahadev (78 MW), Sunni Dam (538 MW) and Gyspa Dam (300 MW) are under preparation. Pre-feasibility Reports of Lujai (40 MW), Chiroti Saichu (26 MW), Saichu (43 MW) and Saichu-Sach Khas (104 MW) have been prepared. Khab Hydroelectric Project (600 MW) located on river Satluj is at the identification stage.KfW, German Development Bank has committed low interest rate loan of Euro 200 million during July, 2013 for Construction of Thana Paun Hydroelectric Project (191 MW) located in district Mandi, H.P. Project to be taken up for construction during the next year.

Received 'Man of the Year 1999' award for excellence in performance of duties and achievement in the field of hydropower. Worked in HPSEBL from October 2003 to November 2006 for establishing organisational framework for setting up of Pabba Valley Power Corporation. Established basic infrastructure for Sawra Kuddu Hydroelectric Project (111 MW).
