• Prepare the RFQ as per requirements & commercial guidelines of organization, select the strategic vendor panel, get the offers from vendors.• Evaluations of competitive offers received, bench marking, understand potential areas of negotiation, cost building.• Co-ordination with Technical and Legal teams for ensuring all compliances of offer received from vendors, matching the requirement with market condition & product availability.• On boarding of new vendors, verify the credentials of vendors, evaluation of vendors, understand the capacity constraint.• Preparing techno-commercial recommendations and submit for review after verifying budget availability, obtaining the approval for placement of Contract/Order from committee/competent authority as per finance limits.• Arranging the kick off meeting with vendors & internal stakeholder, brief the vendors about deliverable/critical task of orders, it’s time line, stream line the communications.• Internal coordination for LC opening, sub-vendor approval, finalization of QAP & drawings, issue of the MDCC to vendors, Road permit, Custom clearance, Logistics.• Expedite with vendors for timely delivery of materials & availability of service to meet the project schedule.• Process the Contract Closure, short close the orders if required, retentions & Bank Guarantees release. • Balance the workload across the multiple resources, assign supplier & project.
