Graduated from The University Of Auckland (New Zealand) with a BE in Electrical Engineering and later, ME in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.My first Job was with Western Geophysical out of Houston, TX based on offshore oil exploration ships mapping sub-surface geology and searching for oil around Brazil and then Bahamas, The Gulf of Mexico, and China. Fortunate to be involved in the world's first 3D mapping of Champion Field for Brunei in Indonesia.Worked as an Academic Staff member at the University of Auckland for a few years after achieving my ME.Then joined FUJITSU as a systems engineer.Co-founded a company with a colleague and created Pharmacy Dispensing Software which we later exited to a drug company in the '80's. while still working full time (long nights coding; lots of energy when you are in your 20's and have ambitions).Co-designed and developed the high security BONUS BONDS lottery generation system (ELSIE 3) for Postbank, and the again later on for ANZ bank.Two more exits since. A cloud based Animal Health Plan SaaS solution for Dairy, Sheep, and Beef Farmers. Exit to a multi-national drug company. Another was a comprehensive Practice Management System for Veterinary Clinics and Hospitals with over 350 sites around the world.Currently Managing Director and CEO for a number of companies specialising in specialist vertical market products and investments.Specialties: Specialist in Veterinary Software and Animal Health Plans.
