I am a Believer..!!Well, I was born in India and did my MBA from DAVV university, Indore, India before jumping on the bandwagon of experiencing one of the most challenging yet fascinating job of concept selling at Indiamart.com (largest online B2B marketplace in India, now and than).Mind you, the standard sales lead conversion in late 2010 was 2% (which is near to ideal in current retail ecommerce space now) and I have to meet at least 50 clients (generate sessions in ecommerce today) to hit that conversion. While initiating client calls, I faced straight refusals (users bounced off within seconds). Face to face meetings with compelling presentations supported me reach at sales closure stage (enhance UIUX & better offers) but still at times after positive client meetings and confirmed consensus it ends up in a failed sale (funnel leakages; check out abandonment in specific). Lesson learned – There’s many a slip between the cup and the lip As a result of my extensive involvement in .com industry, I developed a knack for understanding the business scope of enterprises via electronic medium and causing them to grow beyond their expectations.Presently, I am using my experience, expertise and energy to transform a private label ‘His & Hers’ into value-segment fashion brand in the ecommerce space in Middle east. Heading the project right from initiation to development to implementation. My task involves business optimization with improved margins, sales planning and forecasting, third party acquisition, managing last mile and customer support, agency management, marketing, UIUX improvement in liaison with tech team, web merchandising and order flow management.I love to talk and hear about business transformations via ecommerce, improved digital dynamics, behavioral shift in consumer buying habits with the advent and rise of digital infrastructure. I am adept in selling brands but mediocre at selling myself.
