1. Monthly planning of material requirement for both in-house and vendor parts based on customer production plan.2. Managing direct procurement of raw materials as per the requirement to maintain optimum inventory level.3. Supporting production requirement and coordinate with stores on issue of the same.4. Coordinate with vendor team for issuing materials as per vendor requirement.5. Carryout improvement activities for optimum usage of material and consumption of slow-moving and non-moving materials.6. Be a part of TFT for implementation of new projects and carry out standardization of raw material sizes for mass production.7. Carryout improvement activities for optimum material usage, cost reduction and material storage.8. Responsible for controlling of raw material rejection rate and to follow up with the supplier for carrying out corrective action.9. Man power management in materials department for daily activities.10. Carryout 3C and 5S activities for the improvement of department function.11. Provide MIS reports to management.
