My duties as a Customer and Vehicle service officer involve -- Handle bookings and all customer inquiries via phone and Email- Cross-sell products and services to customers - Provide clear information to customers on our products and services- Initiate and finalize rental agreements- Qualify customers prior to rental initiation- Customer billing for the services provided to them- Follow-up overdue renters for additional funds and/or the return of the vehicle- Accurately complete all required documentation prior to, during, and after rental agreement initiation and finalization. Ensure that these records are stored correctly- Checking of vehicles prior to and on return on rental- Vehicle detailing, cleaning internally and externally as needed- Relocate, deliver and collect vehicles between branch locations, customers, suppliers, and other locations as directed- Escalate any refunds or discount offers to the manager for approval- Protect company assets through the practice of sound risk management. This includes secure storing of vehicle keys and reporting any missing or damaged assets to the manager immediately- Attend and contribute to team meetings and training sessions- Develop a strong understanding of current rates, policies, and procedures- Ensure customer service issues are dealt with in a prompt and professional manner - Ensure a high level of accuracy and data integrity is maintained at all times across documentation and systems- Report breaches of Company policies and procedures to the Duty / Branch Manager

Working on 'Safe Online together' - A research project aimed at promoting intergenerational understanding of digital media use in collaboration with Community services #1 and Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) with a grant awarded by the office of the eSafety Commissioner. - 'Safe online together' is an integrated approach to navigating the risks and opportunities of digital media for families and young people. - It aims to develop a pilot program to promote intergenerational understanding and knowledge of digital media and technology use, and reducing media-related conflict within families. - The pilot project will consist of a series of school presentations for young people, as well as family workshops. - The program will draw on robust evidence, research, and a co-design approach to develop training, materials, and online resources delivered to families and schools across the Canberra region.- The program aims to change the perception of young people as vulnerable risk-takers in the online environment, and instead support them to share their knowledge about managing their online presence with younger peers and families.- It will facilitate intergenerational discussion and empower parents and guardians to manage their families’ online behaviors and practices in a mutually constructive and beneficial way.
