In 2017, I came into my role as President of NorthAmerican Concessions. NorthAmerican Concessions leads three restaurant concepts in Midway Airport: Woodgrain Pizzeria, Arami Sushi, and Harry Caray’s Shortstop.Since stepping into my role, I’ve worked diligently to not just maintain our business operations, but establish NorthAmerican Concessions’ commitment to workplace diversity.As President, I oversee all front of house and back of house operations; ensure contract compliance with the city; and supervise our HR, Finance, and Purchasing Departments. Over the past few years, I’ve led the NorthAmerican Concessions team through the pandemic, navigating the complexities it’s brought to both the hospitality and travel industries. We’ve remained open and all of our concepts have been functional despite how crippling the pandemic has been to the industry.In addition, I’m passionate about celebrating diversity in the workplace and I am committed to creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds and identities. Through this work, I had the joy of moderating the WBDC Supplier Equity Panel and was a speaker for the GovCon Airports Cohort.
