I am a recent graduate of the Telfer School of Management, having earned my Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance. During my academic journey, I developed a strong foundation in corporate finance, international financial management, and equity valuation, which has fueled my passion for learning and growth in the dynamic field of finance. Some practical experience I have gained comes from an internship at NVista Consulting, where I honed my skills in project management, customer service, and business analysis, and at Family and Children's Services of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington (FACSFLA), where I contributed to financial operations and reporting as a summer accounting intern. My responsibilities included preparing and reconciling financial statements, invoices, and paystubs with precision and adherence to accounting standards.I am eager to leverage my academic and professional experiences in a challenging role that supports the financial success of diverse clients and organizations. I also plan to pursue the CPA designation, beginning with my CPA Preparatory Courses in the summer of 2025, aiming to expand my expertise in accounting, taxation, and auditing while broadening my career opportunities.
