As the General Manager at Butwal Hospital, I oversee the daily operations, strategic planning, and quality improvement of a 100-bed multispecialty hospital that serves more than 50,000 patients annually. With over 19 years of experience in the health care sector, I have a strong background in ophthalmology, hospital management, project management, hospital planning & construction, and human resources.My mission is to improve and impart health care services to reduce blindness and mortality, especially in rural and remote areas of Nepal. I have successfully led and implemented several projects and programs in collaboration with local and international partners, such as the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, the Lions Club, and the World Health Organization. I have also contributed to the training and development of ophthalmic technicians, nurses, and other health care professionals. I am passionate about enhancing the quality, accessibility, and affordability of health care services for all.
