As a kid, I watched in awe as movie characters like Iron Man developed mechanized suits, and kids like Phineas and Ferb invented matter-phase shifters and built rollercoasters. The prospect of advancing the technological frontier fascinated me. Wanting to build amazing things just like them, I decided to start learning my first programming language, Swift, at age 11. I have worked to improve my proficiency in languages like Java, Python, and Javascript ever since. The various coding projects I have developed range from iOS apps to NoSQL databases and machine learning applications.Having operated as a student government official for seven years, my leadership and interpersonal skills have advanced through experience. I have worked closely with the Castro Valley Unified School District through their student-leadership alliance, partnered with local businesses to explore fundraising opportunities, and collaborated with officials in neighboring school districts to improve the quality of our respective student bodies. Now, as the president of the Nu Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., I am making a difference in my community through academic excellence, leadership, and service.I am currently a computer science and electrical engineering major at Stanford University. Sharing my passion and enthusiasm for what I do as well as inspiring people to create something amazing is my ultimate goal in life.
