MACPRO Ltd started its operation at Thrissur in 2012. Since its operational inception, I have played a detrimental role in developing the company from scratch to a level capable of taking the projects in the private and public sector.

 Managed the new electrical and plumbing works of the Manappuram Finance and the group company from the design stage to the final delivery of the project. Coordinated with the consultants and the contractors for the handing over of all the deliverables required before the commencement of the project Prepared detailed forward plans of work commitments and appropriate labour requirements. Ensured that sub-contractors are supervised and their standard of work is acceptable and incompliance with agreed specifications. Liaison with departmental staff, contractors, suppliers and statutory authorities in matters relating to work as appropriate. Organize and attend regular meetings with Supervisors and other associated staff for reviewing the operation of the Electrical Maintenance Section.

 Reviewed and coordinated for the timely completion of shop drawings. Tracked project deliveries as per the project schedule. Finalized/negotiated the project materials based on the contract documents. Supervised and coordinated delivery of engineering-related equipment. Coordinated with the project engineers/ team leader about the daily site activities and look ahead.  Coordinated work with main contractor  Participated in preparing proposals for possible projects. Supervised budget aspects in connection with project engineering.  Prepared variations for the project. Prepared monthly invoices for the project based on the site progress.

 Thorough study of the tender documents & drawings and develop the Bill of Quantities of the Electrical and Low current Systems. Arranging the drawings and specifications to the suppliers and ensuring their proper coordination and support in arranging the quotations on time. Detailed study of the routing of cables& wires, sleeves & ducts, Conducts & Cable management and making a systematic study for substantiating the cost effect of the project. Comparative study of market price for the materials as per the specifications and project requirements. Direct cost estimation, Market price evaluation & procurement of materials. Value engineering the projects as a proposal to the consultants for providing cost effective solution of systems apart from the specifications. Preparing a detailed chart for the budget cost of different system for JOB In Hand Projects and negotiating the suppliers for a price lower than the budget cost. Coordinating with Site Engineers and preparing the Material request form as per the instruction from Engineers for processing the steady access of materials from the procurement dept. Coordinating with suppliers in arranging the technical submittal as well as compliance statement in accordance with specifications.

 Familiarize with the project and prevailing local electrical regulations required for the design. Detailed study of client/ consultant requirement from the design documents. Calculate the power consumption to each room from the equipment schedule and allocate wiring accessories necessary for the load.  Design the lights based on the lux calculations to each room and prepare the lighting schedule as per the design. Design the telephone & data layout and earthing & lightning protection systems.  Preparation of shop drawings and load schedule based on the design calculations. Co-ordination of shop drawings with the clients and consultants on behalf of main contractors.
