Relief charge duties include delegation of daily assignments, staffing, and problem solving.Coordinate care of Trauma patients, both in house and outlying transports. Communicate with outlying hospital or care personnel to ensure continuity of care for patient before admission. Coordinate and care for patient during Trauma until delivered to surgery or room. Assist attending in directing of care to meet and maintain Level 1 status and guidelines. Follow up with outlying hospitals for feedback on care and patient status. Outreach teaching to ensure rural communities have access to protocols and care guidelines, and alert of changes. Assist in data collection and entry as per ACS guidelines.
