Help maintain computerized accounting system to process accounts payable & revenue. ● Accounts Payable processing, coding, approvals using Concur & manual processing● Keeping vendor database accurate (W9s/1099s) ● Communicate discrepancies and late submissions● Manage paperless Concur Expense & Concur Invoice● Manage paper accounts payable, including managing Billing inbox, maintaining the vendor database, recording invoices, reviewing expenses for proper coding to ensure accuracy and consistency, processing checks for vendors, handle Positive Pay and produce A/P reports● Manage prepaid and accrual accounts in accordance with GAAP, adjust prepaid and accrued expenses monthly, and analyze expense variances monthly● Assist with audit preparation, gathering documents as requested by the audit team for their fieldwork● Prepare budget variance analysis for expenses and provide explanations thereof to monthly● Reconcile investment, bank and credit card accounts monthly● Assist in processing government grant invoicing and cash receipts● Generate, analyze for variances, and distribute monthly cost center financial packets● Generate ad hoc reports for cost center managers, various departments and VP of Finance as needed

Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to paymentProcess 3 way P.O. matching invoices, up to 100 plus line itemsPrioritize invoices Process check requestsAudit and process credit card billsMatch invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordinglyRespond to all vendor inquiriesReconcile vendor statementsAssisting in month end closingMaintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practicesPosts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.
