Project Name: HPE CSFE Program support.Duration: Nov 2022 to presentProject Details: Integrated Lights out (iLO) is a remote server management processor embedded on the system boards of supported HPE servers and compute modules. iLO enables the monitoring and controlling of servers from remote locations. iLO management is a powerful tool that provides multiple ways to configure, update, monitor, and repair servers from remotely.• Reserving the Onsite lab (Taiwan) Test Environment setup with the details of required hardware configuration.• Verifying the hardware configuration of Test Environment received and downgrading the firmware's and installing the required OS as per the test plan.• Validating iLO firmware upgrades with different iLO platforms (iLO4/iLO5/iLO6) and with flashing methods from UI, RBSU, RestAPI. • Post firmware update validating iLO functional test and response using different Interfaces like iLOREST, Postman, SSH, HPQLOCFG and HPONCFG.• Validating server option components like CNA/Network controller cards, RAID controller cards, UBM Backplanes and different types of drives like SATA, SAS and NVMe firmware update with the latest iLO builds.• Configuring server options at OS level and validation of respective information are listed on the ILO page.• Validating iLO features with latest OS release and NPI hardware (RHEL, SLES, Windows and VMware).• Raising defects with required logs and details and following up the defect till it fix and validating the fix on respective Test Environment.• Validating RC builds and providing signoff for the PRG.• Conducting project related fundamental training for new team members and providing support on Test Environment to Dev team.• Involved in sprint planning meetings and daily scrum meetings and sharing the status of ongoing assignments.• Providing status and inputs to onsite coordinator in case of any hardware failure or test plan change.

Project Name: HPE CSI SPP validation team.Duration: Oct 2021 to Oct 2022Project Details: Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) is a comprehensive systems software and firmware solution delivered as a single ISO. This solution uses Smart Update Manager (SUM) as the deployment tool and is tested on all supported servers as per server support mentioned in Release plan.• Physically configuring Test Environment setup in the lab with HPE ProLiant servers and their supported options.• Downgrading Test Environment setup to N-1/N-2 as per test plan.• Validating QA builds of SPP on different HPE ProLiant DL and ML server configurations.• Validating QA builds of SPP on different OS platforms like RHEL, SUSE, Windows and VMware ESXi.• Validating different SPP deployment methods like Offline flashing (firmware only), Online flashing (Firmware, drivers, software and utility's), and Remote System flashing.• Creating and validating custom SPP with respect to specific Server and OS type using staging SPP Custom Download portal.• Raising defects with required logs and details and following up the defect till it fix and validating the fix on respective Test Environment.• Validating RC builds and providing signoff for the PRG.• Documenting new learning and sharing to team members and providing support on Test Environment to Dev team.• Involved in sprint planning meetings and daily scrum meetings and sharing the status of ongoing assignments.
