Over the past five years, I have worked as a freelance columnist and journalist (mostly for sports and sports betting websites/entities). I am the Founder of Cozy Conversations OKC, where I have assembled a media team to cover local music and art while interviewing musicians/artists and simultaneously organizing concerts. In addition to being employed at OSU-OKC, I am a full-time Mass Communications; Broadcasting & Journalism student at OCU. I am an Army veteran and go to school through a VA program. I also am an Assistant Coach and the Executive Analytical Advisor for the OCU men's basketball team. I earned my Associate degree in Applied Sciences from OSU-OKC– During my time as a student at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City, I founded and was the first President of Writers' Haven, the writing club for OSU-OKC. Additionally, I was an executive team member for the Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City Student Government Association (SGA) and am a current member of OCU SGA. Lastly, I am a part of the Student Publications team at OCU, I am a Staff Writer in addition to being the Sports Editor.I am the Co-Founder of OKC Community Advocacy. This local non-profit organizes various events and efforts to help or advocate for our communities and members in need within our neighborhoods. Some events we have created and organized are; voter registration drives, over 10 community clean-up events that partner with OKC Beautiful (Litter Blitz), food and clothing drives, constructing/booking benefit shows or concerts with local bands, and many other sustainability and advocacy efforts. I also personally spend time with the homeless in my area. I take them food, clothing, toiletries, and any other items that they need. Through OSU-OKC SGA, we created over 100 care packages and put them into stockings to hand out to our neighbors in need around the holiday season.
