I entered the Engineering Field in 1996 after graduating from Lakeland College in Mattoon, IL with an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. After working for a few years as an Engineering Technician, I returned to College and obtained my Bachelors in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. I joined the team at Austin Engineering in Peoria, IL in 2003. While gaining valuable project experience I was also able to obtain a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois-Springfield at their Peoria Campus in 2005 as well as my Professional Engineering License from the State of Illinois in 2007. After the retirement of Mr. Jim Franklin, the longtime owner and President of Austin Engineering, I became President of the Company in 2008.
