Through my employment with Team Power Solutions, I have obtained a diverse set of skills. I transitioned from my initial position as an Electrical Engineering Technologist in the Field Services Department to my current role as an Electrical Engineer in the Engineering Services department.Skills obtained through these roles include but are not limited to the following:- Performing system studies including; Coordination, Short-Circuit, and Arc-Flash analysis- Equipment design for low/medium voltage transformers, switchgear, power factor correction units, motor control centers- Protection design for low/medium voltage systems- Providing specifications for a variety of protection relays, variable frequency drives, generator controllers, and automatic transfer controllersThe following outlines the formal training I have received to date:- Beckwith: Protection & Controls- Schweitzer: Real-Time Automation Controllers- EngWorks: Grounding Fundamentals- Siemens & Allen Bradley: Variable Frequency Drives- Team Power Solutions: Qualified Electrical Worker Outside of my engineering experience, I have sufficient knowledge in maintenance testing and commissioning of electrical equipment in both the commercial and industrial sectors.I currently hold Professional Engineering designations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. I also have maintained my Professional Technologist designation through the Technology Professionals Saskatchewan association.
