Project: Commercial Delivery Van-Worked onsite and remote with a client and their suppliers to design, integrate, engineer, and test lighting systems, windshield wiper and washer systems, air conditioning systems, coolant hoses, and a 360 degree camera system. Design work was done using CATIA V5 and Windchill.-Worked onsite with our client’s engineering and purchasing teams to generate and maintain a bill of materials in Excel during design feasibility studies and contract proposal work for a low/moderate volume delivery van.Project: New Product Launch (Defense Vehicle)-Worked onsite with clients to set up the build process for a defense vehicle on an accelerated schedule. This included work instruction creation in ProPlanner and laying out the build process on existing manufacturing lines by assigning tasks and parts to build stations using JD Edwards World software.-Provided onsite build support for the launch of the product including documenting and correcting issues with the product found during the assembly process.Project: CAD Software Pilot-Piloted the use of Onshape (a cloud based CAD software) to recreate an internally designed product that was previously created in Creo Parametric. This was done to determine the feasibility and ease of using Onshape for all future internally designed products.
