R&D team leader on a complete RTL to GDSII system known as the Lynx Design System. Lynx was anchored upon Synopsys tools and flows, around which were architected other essential productivity boosting items (e.g. graphical flow configuration and execution, metrics analysis, technology plug-ins). The team focused on the development, maintenance, and validation of the flows at the core of the system. The flows were complete ASIC implementation and analysis flows and were instrumental in the realization of highly complicated silicon both internally within Synopsys (e.g. turnkey delivery) and externally by customers (e.g. direct usage, foundry reference flows). I was an original member of the Lynx team (formed in 2005) and participated in product definition, product launch, and onwards through its life-cycle.
