When it all boils down, the thing that brings me the most joy in my work is helping passionate people be more effective and fulfilled in the work that they are passionate about. I haven't always been able to articulate it quite so succinctly, but that's been a driver for quite some time now. I see it both in reflecting on my design technology and project execution leadership roles and in looking at where I am now and want to be in the future. I have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of people over the last 20+ years in the AEC, and I have learned a lot from them. Not just in Architecture, but in business and how to relate to each other with respect and kindness. Those are the lessons that I hope to bring to everyone I get a chance to work with regardless of industry or business function. I also carry a carefully balanced blend of the human and the technological and strive for excellence while embracing the present and the challenges we all face daily.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, getting outdoors, and detaching from this digital life we all live these days. That could be camping out of range of cell service or just having a drink and BBQing together in the backyard and conveniently forgetting my phone in the house. I wrapped up my MBA from the University of Colorado Denver at the end of 2021 and am eager to see what's on the other side of this rewarding but time-consuming endeavor.
