I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, having focused my studies on renewable energy generation technology. I studied under renowned professors of energy studies, such as Professor John C. Kramlich, Professor Phil Malte, Professor Fernando Resende and Professor Renata Bura. I took on two research assistant positions while completing my degree and after obtaining my degree, I continued to work full time at the University of Washington as a research engineer.

At Engineers Without Borders, University of Washington chapter, we are challenged to find solutions for those living without first-world commodities. Last year, we improved a fish hatchery for a community in Guatemala and this year we are giving that community a community center. We are also developing a cookstove for use in East Africa via forced-convection combustion.
