Hello everyone,My name is Devin Cooke and I am a recent alumnust from University High School Charter in Los Angeles, California. I am a hard-working student athlete that has played football, ran track, and swam. I was also a student ambassador at University High School Charter that has led tours of the school for parents, and represented his academic classes at Open Houses. I am a Pepperdine Posse 7 Scholar, 2020 Edison International STEM Scholar, California State Biliteracy Seal Recipient (Spanish), Superintendents and High Honor Roll student who intends to major in Computer Science/Math, and become a successful Business/STEM leader. By advancing my education in STEM, I will combine my leadership, science, and technology skills to create a positive impact in my community and a brighter future for all. Instilling a growth mindset at a young age, I have seen the light upon the various life obstacles I’ve been faced with. I’ve learned to persevere and be receptive to the life lessons you are given, opening yourself to new growth and failure as stepping stones into your future success.
