I am a sophomore at the University of Tennessee, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in marketing, a collateral in supply chain, and a minor in retail merchandising and management. The Haslam College of Business has given me many chances to gain hands-on experience, and I am currently a founding member of the Marketing and Sales Collaborative Program, which plans the Rocky Top Golf Tournament and the Marketing Innovation Conference. This program has allowed me to try out marketing in both traditional fashion as well as through social media. It has also allowed me to gain sales experience by pursuing sales leads to sell tickets for the events, and has provided me with great leadership experience by working with our faculty advisors to build this program from the ground up.Throughout my academic and involvement experience, I've gained a passion for problem-solving and brainstorming fresh ideas to uniquely promote events and products. I've also learned the importance of teamwork, adaptability, communication, and efficiency through my role in the Marketing and Sales Collaborative Program and work experience, which I plan to apply in my future career.
