I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Applied Math and Computer Science, with a concentration in Actuarial Science. I am currently preparing for the probability examination and am scheduled to take the exam July, 2017. In my time working at Dermco-LaVine Construction I have picked up many useful skills to help me succeed in the professional world. I have found that I can work well in teams, no matter the size or potential differing viewpoints. I am very quick to learn new roles in order to help expedite the completion of a task or project. I also learned that just because something may be intimidating at first there is no reason to shy away from the challenge. Accepting challenges in both your personal, and professional life are what helps you grow and adapt.I feel that the valuable lessons I have learned from work can be translated to almost any profession and I know that if I am given a challenge I should embrace it, not back down from it.
