I am a third year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Florida intended in pursuing my Bachelors as well as a minor in Biomechanics. I have been getting involved in projects to get practice with the design process for preparation for college design teams since high school. I am pursuing internship, assistantship, or work study opportunities to expand my mechanical engineering experience. I am very interested in prosthetic and exoskeleton design, and I am currently part of a design team for a lower body exoskeleton for the Applied Collegiate Exoskeleton (ACE) Competition hosted annually by Michigan State University. I am also working on developing connections through the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and American Society of Biomechanics (ASB). I am on the Dean's List for the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at UF (3.35 GPA). I am someone who is methodical, dedicated, and easy to work with.
