Devin Duncan is a driven and visionary student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a double major in Public Policy and Public Relations. As a Carolina Scholar and Honors Carolina member, Devin is passionate about transforming communities through education, policy, and law to create equitable opportunities for all.At UNC, Devin plays an active role in shaping campus life and governance. As a member of the Student Advisory Committee to the Chancellor and Chair of the Student Conduct Board, Devin is committed to creating accountability, inclusivity, and innovation within the Carolina community. Through work as a Democracy & Dialogue Fellow at the Campus Y, Devin facilitates conversations that bridge divides, encourage civic engagement, and inspire students to take action in shaping a better democracy and world.Devin's leadership journey began at Fairfield Senior High School, where, as a three-time Class President, Devin spearheaded initiatives that left a lasting legacy. These included founding the school’s first Student Leadership Team, updating the district’s Diversity Plan, and launching a Student-Led Employee Recognition Program. Beyond the school level, Devin contributed to statewide efforts as a member of Ohio’s School Safety Advisory Council and the Attorney General’s Teen Ambassador Board, collaborating with policymakers to prioritize student safety and well-being.
