As a dedicated dietetic student with hands-on experience in food service, nutrition education, and in a clinical setting, I am passionate about using nutrition to positively impact lives. My background includes managing food service operations, where I developed strong skills in leadership, efficiency, and problem-solving. I’ve also gained valuable experience in outpatient nutritional counseling, working one-on-one with clients to help them navigate their unique health and wellness goals. On top of that, I have gain skills in preventing and managing treatment for people with eating disorders and obesity through a certificate program at Northern Illinois University.In addition to my deitetic experince, I have a background as a pastry chef as well as working with children which has which has deepened my connection to food and ability to develop creative, approachable ways to teaching about food and nutrition across the lifespan. My diverse experience allows me to understand the big picture of nutrition, from optimizing food service operations to delivering compassionate, individualized care. I am committed to promoting healthy, sustainable eating habits that empower individuals to live their best lives. As I continue my studies, I look forward to expanding my expertise and making a lasting impact in the field of dietetics with aspirations of owning a private practice that focuses on gastrointestinal disorders through the lens of integrative and functional medicine.
