I am now an EHS Representative for MacLean Power System's in Alabaster AL. I deal with day to day safety issues making sure employees are wearing and or using proper PPE daily. New hire orientations and locating areas that need safety guards installed or updated. Corporate accident reporting and investigating including osha accident reporting. Prior to that I have about 6 1/2 years of Millwright experience working in a foundry environment. I would work on machinary/equipment/conveyors. Answer radio calls when in the event of equipment failure. I would do preventive maintenance and document findings and work done, I was also A Visual Emissions Reader and did the documentation of VE as part of our PM schedule. Troubleshooting and setup. I also completed an introductory course to stick arc welding. In addition to 6 months of Maintenance Store Room Clerk experience. I would help with ordering, requisition/data entry, part labeling, 5's, parts/ppe distribution, documenting inventory, shelf stocking, tool issuing. Before coming to work for AAM I worked for 3 1/2 years as a commercial/ residential flooring store manager at West Coast Flooring. I did all of the sales, showroom layout, purchasing, recieving, material handling, book keeping, data entry, customer service.
