Through my time here, I’ve had the chance to file many lawsuits—primarily automobile torts and premises liability claims. I also file various motions and discovery responses in regard to our clients. This experience has amplified my understanding of civil litigation and the process of filing a civil lawsuit.

During my time at Action Sports Law Group, I had the privilege to assist in O-1 and P-1 visa petitions. I worked primarily with high profile action sports athletes, including various Olympic athletes. On top of visa petitions, I filed many DS-160’s to help clients. This was a tremendous opportunity, which allowed me to gain experience in both immigration and sports law.Aside from legal work, I helped assist the CEO/President create a marketing plan for the companies website design and the inaugural podcast “Board Meetings,” with my marketing background.

I’m in charge of various different roles from the operations side to the marketing side of sports organizations. I have a very hands-on role at NFC fighting organization. I set up various venues for fight nights by helping put up the cage, assigning seats, etc. I’ve also gained marketing exposure through helping with sponsorship sales for events. During fight nights, I’m either writing checks to staff/fighters, handling equipment operations, or selling tickets at the door. I’ve gained plenty of exposure in all areas of sports operations/marketing while working with NFC.

During my time at Smith, Welch, Webb & White, I had the role of going through previous cases and entering them into the firm’s database. I had the honor to sit in on various depositions, as well as meet with some of the Henry County Superior Court judges. Through my time here, I learned a lot about the legal field and it opened my eyes to various different fields of law.

While spending a month in Rwanda, I was a part of a group which helped the less fortunate in downtown Rwanda. We were assigned to single mothers, who struggle to bring in steady income. I helped come up with a plan in order to differentiate their businesses from others and bring about more customers. It was my role to teach these mothers how to operate their businesses and calculate their expenses/revenues to better organize their business structure. I learned a magnitude of valuable information when conducting business abroad.

I worked on a small scale landscaping crew, where the majority of work was labor based. We would lay rock and sod with a two man crew. Through doing this, I also was in charge of marketing the companies services by door-to-door sales. This proved effective, as our clients increased nearly 85% in a matter of 4 months. This job taught me the importance of dealing with fatigue while performing at a high level.

As a referee under Georgia Soccer Association, I had the pleasure to head referee, as well as assistant referee various levels of play. I refereed many different age groups ranging from 5 year olds all the way up to 18 year olds. Through being a referee, I learned the importance of being punctual and handling conflict in high pressure situations.
