During my tenure at Cominix USA, Inc., I have been given many responsibilities such as maintaining the company president & employees schedules and contacts, organization of company files, backing up company & client information to ensure security, tier one tech support and data entry. Additional duties include managing sales, following up with our salesmen about orders, preparing necessary documents as well as generating daily, weekly & monthly reports. In doing so, I often have to communicate with employees at our parent company office located in Japan frequently in Japanese as well as English. I also do light accounting by maintaining detailed records on all company financial transactions.

As assistant language teacher (ALT) with the JET Program, I taught English and fostered an interest in international exchange and travel to students from first grade to ninth grade. At the junior high school, while coordinating with a Japanese Teacher of English I was responsible for the planning and execution of activities used in addition to the textbook as well creating up to date and relevant materials such as worksheets, flashcards & bulletin boards. At the elementary school level, I was entirely responsible for lesson planning, making materials and acting as the main teacher for students as young as first grade. Twice a year, I designed and ran English day camps for elementary school students. Other duties included writing a bilingual column for the local magazine. I acted as sole translator for the translation of travel guidebooks, archaeological findings and related works. Additionally, I taught a biweekly evening English conversation class for senior citizens, and have been involved in many other cross-cultural community activities

As an intern for the JASG, I was tasked with daily office duties including but not limited to: -handling client and member information -social media presence -event planning (casual and black tie) -advertising and promotion -school visits
