I am an innovator, a tinkerer, an entrepreneur, and a nerd.After graduating from Colorado College with a Bachelor's Degree in philosophy and a minor in psychology, I spent two years in New Zealand and Australia. While abroad, I worked on native Aboriginal land, organic farms, world heritage sites, and even a replica 16th century sailing ship while learning about sustainable and regenerative agriculture, plant medicine, and ecological best practices. On my return to the States, I started a custom painting business that I ran for 6 years before turning control of the company over to my brother. From there I spent a few years working in the luxury/adventure travel industry.In 2015 I co-founded SteepFuze, a CBD-infused coffee & tea company utilizing a patent-pending infusion process that I developed. After running the business for ~5 years, my partner, investors, and I made a successful exit from the business when we sold SteepFuze to GCH Inc. and the one and only, Willie Nelson. After that, SteepFuze became Willie’s Remedy and for two years I remained with the parent company managing product development and strategy for Willie’s Remedy as well as our white label manufacturing program and trade marketing.After several years of consulting work, I was hired by Blue Room Investing to assist with launching a new impact investment company of theirs in the regenerative agriculture space which turned into the VP of Sales position at Dry Storage flour mill until the summer of 2024 when I was promoted to CEO.
