I was a CNC machinist for the last 5 years doing job shop work programming mills, setup, debug, grinding, heat treating and more. I am currently a part time machine tool instructor at the Tennessee college of applied technology teaching students how to properly and safely run manual and CNC machine tools and use of software to produce g-code programs. I have experience in long hand g-coding on HAAS milling machines. recently I have switched careers into robotics and automation for C&P automation in hopes to become great at programming robots using vision plc and more and to integrate my CNC machinist skills into the company whether it be standalone machine jobs or jobs where CNC machines and robots work in tandem to achieve low cycle time and automation for the job at hand.
