Control Room Superintendent
Current• Responsible for direction of shift activities including authorization of maintenance, engineering, operations activities, and control of site activities. • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality requirements IAW Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and limiting conditions of operation (LCOs). • Verify LCOs: Recommend compensatory measures and complete LCO daily checklists. Determine LCO impact of isolating or working on process/support equipment prior to release to work.• Certified to serve as Incident Commander (IC) or report directly to IC during contingencies.• Reinforce Conduct of Operations (CONOPS) and compliance culture in the Operations Department. • Conducts management observations and self-assessments. • Communicate and coordinate with plant departments on planning, field walkdowns and execution of preventive, corrective, and modification work.• Responsible for ensuring all environmental inspection are completed and corrective actions initiated for all deficiencies.• Responsible for site munitions accountability, coordinating plant activities with international treaty teams and management of the Certificate of Destruction of all munitions within the facility and oversite of all plant Surety Material. • Manages a team of supervisor and Control Room Operators to include hiring, training, coaching, discipline and performing performance evaluations.
