About Devin Mccathran
I am a graduate of the University of Florida. I am passionate about sports, podcasting, and commentating. I am eager to start my career in the industry that I have desired my whole life and spent the last four years studying, as I graduated from the University of Florida in December, 2022. Specifically in the last year, I have been developing my ability to write, film, edit, report and deliver content for WRUF radio, WUFT News and The Deal With DJ Podcast, which I developed during my senior year.I am confident that my experience will allow me to excel as a sports anchor. My weekly responsibilities for WRUF (ESPN 98.1 FM 850 AM) included researching and creating news stories relevant to the sports industry. Reporting for the Tuesday WUFT sports segment, I developed the ability to produce a live news-cast as a sports anchor with professionalism and confidence. Lastly, being able to host and produce my own podcast has given me the opportunity to create, story-tell and entertain with my own unique style.
